AmCham Press Release

AmCham DRC brings stakeholders together to improve the business climate and promote U.S. investment in the DRC

Following the official relaunch of its activities in November 2025, the American Chamber of Commerce in the DRC (AmCham DRC), under the high patronage of His Excellency Félix A. Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, convened a high-level forum bringing together the Presidency of the Republic, the Embassy of the United States, diplomatic missions in Kinshasa, international organizations, and business leaders to discuss the business climate and the attractiveness of U.S. investment in the DRC.

This strategic meeting provided an opportunity to identify the key structural challenges hindering foreign investment and to put forward reform proposals aimed at strengthening the transparency, stability, and competitiveness of the Congolese economy.

AmCham DRC reaffirms its commitment to supporting the Congolese authorities and U.S. partners in implementing the recommendations arising from this forum, while playing a central role in strengthening the economic partnership between the DRC and the United States.
