The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations and is represented in the Democratic Republic of Congo by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (AmCham Congo-DR).
The American Chamber of Commerce of the DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO ‘’The Chamber’’ is a non – proﬁt association, which promotes and develops trade, commerce and investment between the United States of America and the DR. CONGO. Members of The Chamber enjoy the prestige of belonging to a highly regarded business organization, oﬀering an easy – to – enter social and professional network of top decision makers from the leading global ﬁrms in general and US ﬁrms in particular, and highly placed local executives.
The purpose of The Chamber is to:
- Promote and further “American-DRC” commercial trade and other interests in The Democratic Republic of The Congo and in the neighboring countries;
- Provide a business, social and policy forum for its members and strengthen “American-DRC” bonds of friendship;
- Be the voice of American businesses in DRC by adding value to Members through advocacy, compliance, business insight and growth.
